AustraliaI am pleased to report that the bike was delivered on Thursday and I spent a happy couple of hours assembling it, mostly with intuition and some advice on the internet. The "english" manual is the worst example of "chinglish" that I've seen! Completely incomprehensible! And I have a lot of experience with chinglish from my frequent visits to Singapore. That aside, I took the bike for arun without the battery (on charge) and was very impressed with the suspension which made traversing parks and reserves easy and comfortable. Yesterday I took the fully charged bike for a run and was even more impressed. Today I went for a run up the coast and was even more impressed! Some guys pulled up alongside me and wanted to know all the details! I think it's fair to say that the bike is better than I expected.
I purchased the yellow colour XT700 a few weeks back and I really enjoy this bike. I haven't had to use the fold up function yet but its handy to know it's there. She is fast and love all the extras that it has. It shipped fast and overall it was a great experience.

Hey with your XT700 folding mountain bike do they have quick release wheels? Also can you configure it to go faster when going off-road?
Yes the front wheel has a quick release function.
This bikes top speed is limited to 25km/hr.
